CCCSAA has a Purpose:
The purpose of the California Community College Student Affairs Association shall be to: promote and advance public two-year post-secondary education and to bring the members together in an association for mutual benefit; to stimulate effective working relationships in the field; to strengthen professional status by establishing criteria for professional training; to undertake research and study pertinent to the profession and other methods for exchange of ideas and information, whereby all persons engaged as Student Affairs professionals in California Community Colleges may be aided in the growth and success of student programs and services within their respective colleges.

What We Do:
Several of the programs we sponsor each year are; Student Leadership Conference in the Fall and Spring for approximately 500 student leaders and Advisors; 10 Student Leadership Scholarships provided each year; 2 Professional Member Scholarships for advanced studies each year; maintenance of an organization website with professional references and resource links; advisement of the California Statewide Student Senate through the state and Regional representation structure; annual Professional Conference sponsorship with Chief Student Services Officers Association; participation in the Student Services Summit consultation process; consultation role with the Community College Chancellor's Office.
