Student housing is more than a place to live—it is a foundation for student success. As California Community Colleges expand housing opportunities, the mission of CCCSAA’s Housing & Residence Life initiative is to:

  • Advocate for accessible, affordable, and inclusive student housing.

  • Equip Student Affairs professionals with tools, resources, and training to support residential students.

  • Foster a statewide community of housing leaders committed to student success and engagement.

How CCCSAA Supports Housing Professionals

Whether you are just starting a housing program or have years of experience in residence life, CCCSAA is here to support you. We provide:

  • Professional Development: Webinars, workshops, discussions, and the annual Professional Development Conference (PDC).

  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with peers across 116 California Community Colleges who are tackling the same challenges.

  • Advocacy & Collaboration: CCCSAA works closely with the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office to ensure housing initiatives are represented and supported at the statewide level.
